AICE Media Studies Group Project Blog

     For the upcoming group project I decided that I will be working individually. I chose to work individually because I feel like working alone will be easier. I also don't have to rely on other people to get work done. There are many differences between working as a group and working individually. I feel that there is more advantages working individually rather than working in a group.

    Working in a group can have many advantages and disadvantages. An advantage for group work is that it allows ideas to be shared among the group. Another advantage that group work can have is that it can increase efficiency. A disadvantage for group work is that it can create conflicts between members of the group. Another disadvantage for group work its that the people working in the group can get distracted by talking to each other and forgetting to do the assignment.

    Working as an individual can also have many advantages and disadvantages. An advantage to working a individually is that you won't have to rely on other people to do work. Another advantage is that you can focus on your work without getting distracted. A disadvantage to working individually is that you can be more stressed knowing that all the work is yours. Another disadvantage to working individually is that you can't share ideas with anyone and you have to come up with them on your own.

    Comparing the advantages and disadvantages of working individually and working in a group I believe that I should work Individually. Working individually will fit my personality. In my opinion working alone will be easier as there is less distractions. Also, I can show my creativity without anyone getting in the way. In conclusion, I will be doing the commercial project as an individual.

    Today I started to edit my scenes for my commercial. To edit the scenes I used iMovie. Some of my scenes were filmed a few times so I will review and choose the best one. Then after choosing the best scenes, I will start to edit the scenes. I was looking at the length of each of my scenes and estimated how long my commercial will be.    Title Design Research: Action Detective Pikachu: 1.How many titles are displayed during the opening sequences to the film? Which ones? Lots of titles are shown in the opening sequence of the movie. The usual ones such as Director and assistant director are shown. Since the movie had many different visual effects there was an emphasis on that part of the crew, such as the visual effects director.  2.What connotations do the images carry?
