AICE Media Studies Group Blog

    I decided to work with a group on the music video project. I chose to work with the same people as on the previous project. I worked with my group on a previous project, and I thought we got along pretty smoothly. Jorge Lopez and Alex Rapanos are the people with who I'm working with on the music video project. I choose to work on my project with these individuals because I believe we work well together.

   In addition, my groupmates and I attended the same elementary and middle schools. I find it easier to comprehend and collaborate with my groupmates now that I've known them for a long. Alex is a terrific guy to work with since I believe he has the potential to be a great leader and is also a hard worker. Jorge is a terrific guy to work with since he is a dedicated worker who completes his tasks on time. And I believe that when we make our music video, the three of us will make an excellent team.

    In addition, I believe that working in a group has numerous advantages over working alone. One of these benefits is that we can manage our time better because we can assign roles to each other for the music video. We can also provide feedback and assistance to one another if necessary. We can also develop our communication abilities by cooperating and assisting one another. There are a couple disadvantages to working alone on this project.

   The first disadvantage of working alone is that you must do everything yourself, resulting in extra effort. In addition, I believe that when I work alone, I am less creative than when I work in a group. And I find it much easier to collaborate with people I've known for a long time. For the final task, we will figure out what we are going to do soon. But for now, we're going to talk about it so that we can have it sorted out.

    Today I started to edit my scenes for my commercial. To edit the scenes I used iMovie. Some of my scenes were filmed a few times so I will review and choose the best one. Then after choosing the best scenes, I will start to edit the scenes. I was looking at the length of each of my scenes and estimated how long my commercial will be. Some of the scenes need to be cut and merged with another scene.           I did research on how to edit/cut videos. I researched this so that I  know how to to cut and edit my scenes.    Title Design Research: Action Detective Pikachu: 1.How many titles are displayed during the opening sequences to the film? Which ones? Lots of titles are shown in the opening sequence of the movie. The usual ones such as Director and assistant director are shown. Since the movie had many different visual effects there was an emphasis on that part of the crew, such as the visual effects director.  2.What connotations do the images carry? (how do you they make you feel) They bring about a sense of nostalgia, especially for those who have been pokemon fans for years. They are bright and colorful and appear to be alive.  3.How is genre reinforced through symbolic and technical codes from the outset?   "Proximity" is a short film directed by Ryan Connolly and produced by Triune Films. The film falls into the action genre. Common Sound in the action genre: Sound is a crucial element in any film, and the action genre is no exception. Action films often use fast-paced, intense music and sound effects to match the high-energy action on screen. In "Proximity," the sound design is used to great effect, with the use of suspenseful music and sound effects adding to the tension of the film's action sequences.
