AICE Media Studies Intro Blog

 This will be my first blog for the final project, and it will be an introduction to myself. Christian Bundalevski is my name, and I was born on February 22, 2006, in the state of Florida. Beachside Montessori Village was where I went to middle school and elementary school. There, I had a lot of fun and met some fantastic people. Fort Lauderdale High School is where I am presently enrolled. I am a sophomore in high school, 15 years old.

  I enjoy playing video games and using my phone in my free time. I enjoy playing video games both for myself and with my friends. When I'm bored and don't know what to do, I play video games since they're entertaining. My phone is primarily used to view YouTube videos and other forms of entertainment. Another thing I do on my phone is use Google to look for stuff like school-related information. Technology and how it is continually improving and easy to obtain is something that inspires my curiosity. I've known how to solve a Rubik's cube for a long time, which is a nice fact about myself.

   I enjoy traveling and seeing new locations during the summer. Traveling provokes my interest since it allows me to learn about diverse cultures and the history of the places I visit. I'd like to travel to numerous nations that I haven't yet visited. France, Italy, Germany, and the United Kingdom are some of the nations that I would like to visit. In the future, I aspire to be able to travel to each of these nations. I wish I could have traveled to these nations and learned more about their cultures and histories.

   To summarize, my blog is an introduction to me, and it tells people about things that interest me and about myself in general.

Beginning of Editing

    Today I started to edit my scenes for my commercial. To edit the scenes I used iMovie. Some of my scenes were filmed a few times so I will review and choose the best one. Then after choosing the best scenes, I will start to edit the scenes. I was looking at the length of each of my scenes and estimated how long my commercial will be. Some of the scenes need to be cut and merged with another scene.           I did research on how to edit/cut videos. I researched this so that I  know how to to cut and edit my scenes. Also, I searched up how to use iMovie since it is my first time using it for something.    Title Design Research: Action Detective Pikachu: 1.How many titles are displayed during the opening sequences to the film? Which ones? Lots of titles are shown in the opening sequence of the movie. The usual ones such as Director and assistant director are shown. Since the movie had many different visual effects there was an emphasis on that part of the crew, such as the visual effects director.  2.What connotations do the images carry? (how do you they make you feel) They bring about a sense of nostalgia, especially for those who have been pokemon fans for years. They are bright and colorful and appear to be alive.  3.How is genre reinforced through symbolic and technical codes from the outset?   "Proximity" is a short film directed by Ryan Connolly and produced by Triune Films. The film falls into the action genre. Common Sound in the action genre: Sound is a crucial element in any film, and the action genre is no exception. Action films often use fast-paced, intense music and sound effects to match the high-energy action on screen.
