Film Reviewing

    My group and I called on discord so that we can talk about our film. Discord is an app that can be used to talk to your friends over voice. We talked about the film for a little before we each showed it to someone to film review. The things we went over were possible changes we can make if they weren't listed by the people that film review us. After this, we then showed the people that were going to film review us the film.
   
     The people that I decided to ask to film review me were my parents. I wanted to hear what people thought of our film so far. And so I decided to go with my parents to film review. So I asked them to review the film together and to let me know what are some changes that my group and I could make. When they finished, they had comments on some changes that we can make. Before my parents told me what we could improve, I went to go get something to write on so I wouldn't forget what they tell me.
    
    The first thing that my parents told me that could be improved in the film is for the recording to be smoother in some parts. I then wrote down on a piece of paper that we needed to fix some scenes that didn't have as good quality as the rest. The second thing that my parts told me that we could fix some of the edits made in the film, I then jotted this information down on a piece of paper. My parents felt that the film wasn't too bad except for the things that they has listed.

    This wrapped up my film review as my parents had told me what they felt was wrong with our film. I will let my group mates know tomorrow what things my parents felt could've been fixed. We'll work to fix these things in our film. I agreed with my parents as my group and I could've made the parts better that weren't as good as some other parts. Overall, today wasn't too bad as I did get some feedback from my parents, this feedback was really helpful.

    Today I started to edit my scenes for my commercial. To edit the scenes I used iMovie. Some of my scenes were filmed a few times so I will review and choose the best one. Then after choosing the best scenes, I will start to edit the scenes. I was looking at the length of each of my scenes and estimated how long my commercial will be.    Title Design Research: Action Detective Pikachu: 1.How many titles are displayed during the opening sequences to the film? Which ones? Lots of titles are shown in the opening sequence of the movie. The usual ones such as Director and assistant director are shown. Since the movie had many different visual effects there was an emphasis on that part of the crew, such as the visual effects director.  2.What connotations do the images carry? (how do you they make you feel) They bring about a sense of nostalgia, especially for those who have been pokemon fans for years. Common Sound in the action genre: Sound is a crucial element in any film, and the action genre is no exception.
